The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Hematology/Oncology and Nephrology Team at IWK Health Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the nutritional management of children with complex medical conditions. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for children with Hematology/Oncology and Nephrology conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in pediatric nutrition and Hematology/Oncology and Nephrology care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition and patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Successful completion of a dietetic internship program
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in pediatric nutrition and Hematology/Oncology and Nephrology care
