We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at IWK Health. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for the nutritional management of children within the Hematology/Oncology Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Hematology/Oncology Team to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in the planning and program development of the Hematology/Oncology Team.
- Provide education and training to healthcare staff, dietetic interns, and affiliating students on normal and therapeutic nutrition.
- Assist in the education of Health Centre staff, dietetic interns, and affiliating students on normal and therapeutic nutrition.
- Bachelor's Degree with major credits in nutrition or dietetics.
- Successful completion of a dietetic internship program.
- Current license to practice with NS Dietetic Association, or eligible to obtain a license.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in Hematology/Oncology and Nephrology is an asset.
