Job Description
Provides Quality Speech-Language Pathology Services
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, you will be responsible for providing quality services that meet the needs of our patients. This includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM)
- CPR training requirements as outlined by WRHA policy
- Experience working with diverse populations and ages
