Job Summary

We are seeking a Territory Manager to join our team. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for achieving or exceeding predetermined service expectations while promoting products with sales objectives. Through excellent execution, you will achieve volume, market share, equity of brand, and distribution growth of an assigned territory with the right brands in the right accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage territory coverage to ensure excellent execution.
  • Plan effectively on a daily, weekly, or monthly/quarterly basis, with sales quota and distribution objectives.
  • Maintain and increase existing volume and distribution by establishing credible and long-term relationships with ON and OFF Premise accounts.
  • Manage allocated budget as needed.
  • Organize wine tastings and training sessions.
  • Execute sales calls using the company's structured sales call methodology.
  • Report on competitive activities in the territory and provide constructive suggestions.
  • Prospect, quantify, and qualify new accounts to determine their potential with the brand portfolio.
  • Provide product and brand marketing knowledge through sales aids and employee training sessions.
  • Collaborate on the ground with brand representatives and management to promote sales.
  • Ensure and improve product commercialization through tablet management, positioning, and frequency of display, sales concepts, and price management.
  • Ensure distribution of brands in key sales establishments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of three years of sales experience in the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and writing skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and influence skills.
  • Good knowledge of wine sales and marketing.
  • WSET certification.
  • Strong relational and analytical skills.
  • MS Office skills.
  • Knowledge of liquor regulations, market trends, and competition.
  • Bilingual French and English.
