Job Title: Data Facilitator - Analytics & Reporting

Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Data Facilitator to join our Analytics & Reporting team. As a Data Facilitator, you will play a critical role in facilitating data and reporting requests through a data management lifecycle approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely, relevant, reliable, and clear data facilitation to enable data & analytics for customers to meet data-driven objectives within specified timeframes.
  • Function as a proactive member of the Analytics & Reporting team, collaborating closely with Data Consultants, Report Writers, and other members of Data & Analytics to meet customer needs.
  • Act as a first point of contact in Analytics & Reporting Services, receiving and/or reviewing and assessing customer requests for data products, and working with customers to identify the value proposition and translate it to Data & Analytics.
  • Identify customer timelines, liaise with Data & Analytics team to determine reasonableness, and provide customers with clear deliverables and timelines on behalf of Data & Analytics.
  • Coordinate and manage communication and actions using ticketing systems, contemplate multiple data sources to enable functionality of other team members, and translate technical speak into clear, meaningful language easily understood by customers.
  • Develop strong working relationships with customers, Program Managers, Directors, Senior Executive members, Business Support, and others who require information for planning, managing, and evaluating services.
  • Work with representatives of internal and external partners as required to enable data product development, champion adherence to data governance, service management, agile product development, data standards, and ethics, and honor the Data Management Lifecycle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Analytics, Business, Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Communication. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a service-focused position, data product delivery, project management, or data & analytics environment (or combination thereof). Experience in a healthcare environment is an asset.
  • Managing complex information requests using advanced critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and advanced communication skills (both written & verbal).
  • Experience working in a complex computerized & technical environment is required.

Interior Health Authority establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

Salary range for the position is $74,618 to $107,264.
