Job Summary

The Data Governance Student will assist the Data Governance & Facilitation team in ensuring the proper management and utilization of data within the organization. The student will work closely with team members to develop documentation, research data governance topics and processes, and collaborate with partners to support data quality.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of data governance policies and standards.
  • Assist in data lifecycle procedures, including archiving and retention.
  • Maintain and update metadata repositories.
  • Maintain documentation of data processes and standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide updates on data initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary degree or advanced diploma in a health-related discipline, health administration, business, or equivalent combination of education, qualification, and skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a complex computer and technical environment.
  • Experience with Excel is required.
