About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Western Financial Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth through effective lead generation and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize our internal database to identify and qualify leads, and drive new business opportunities.
  • Conduct sales qualifying calls with approximately 100 leads per day, and pass qualified leads on to the next stage of the sales process.
  • Collect and document client information to ensure a smooth transition to the Sales Representatives.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership on wins, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications.
  • Meet and exceed sales and retention targets.
  • Collaborate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met.
  • Liaise between clients and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties.
  • Engage in continuous self-development through industry and community involvement, and industry-related courses.
Requirements
  • Sales experience is an asset.
  • Strong customer service experience, preferably over the phone.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to easily break the ice with new clients and effectively gather and share information.
  • Excellent note-taking and clear documentation skills.
  • A passion to help people protect what is most valuable to them.
  • A self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with unlimited earning potential through a mix of fixed and variable compensation.
  • Results-driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customers.
  • The ability to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in the face of adversity.
