About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Western Financial Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth through pipeline management and sales qualifying calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize our internal database to identify and prioritize leads for sales qualifying calls.
  • Conduct approximately 100 sales qualifying calls per day to assess client eligibility for various programs and document client information for smooth transition to the sales process.
  • Collaborate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met and provide status updates to leadership on wins, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications and meet and exceed sales and retention targets.
  • Liaise between clients and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties.
  • Continuously develop your skills through industry and community involvement, and industry-related courses.
Requirements
  • Sales experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Strong customer service experience, preferably over the phone.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively gather and share information.
  • Excellent note-taking and documentation skills.
  • A passion to help people protect what is most valuable to them.
  • A self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with unlimited earning potential through a mix of fixed and variable compensation.
  • The ability to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in the face of adversity.
