Job Title: Instructor of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities to join our team at PRIVATE RESIDENCE. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to develop life skills, provide job training and support, and collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist students to develop life skills, such as daily living skills, communication skills, and social skills.
  • Provide job training and support to help individuals with intellectual disabilities to find and maintain employment.
  • Collaborate with specialists, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists, to develop programs for clients' special needs.
  • Teach and support individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home, school or educational institution/establishment.
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer.
  • Swimming.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check.

  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Adult Abuse Registry check.
