Caregiver for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at PRIVATE RESIDENCE. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in developing their life skills and achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients in developing daily living skills, such as personal care and household management
- Provide job training and support to help clients achieve their employment goals
- Collaborate with specialists to develop programs that cater to clients' unique needs and abilities
- Teach and support clients in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and life skills
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn
- Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, school, or educational institution
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, Driving record check (abstract), Adult Abuse Registry check
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized
- Free parking available
- On-site housing options
- Variable or compressed work week
- Work Term: Casual
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 1 to 40 hours per week
