Social Services Case Manager III

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled Social Services Case Manager III to join our team. As a key member of our Social Services Department, you will play a critical role in assessing client needs, counseling and assisting clients, determining available programs and services, preparing and maintaining files and records, and preparing reports.
Salary and Benefits
Estimated salary for this position is $73,079 - $118,319 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide case management to a combined caseload of child protective services ongoing and foster care prevention cases (in-home services)
- Making referrals and coordinating services with community partners
- Completing face-to-face interviews to assess progress in services
- Conducting Child Protective Services family assessment of child abuse and neglect complaints on cases open to preservation as needed (In-Home)
Qualification Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in social work, human services, or related field
- Considerable local agency social work experience
Special Requirements
- Possession of all requirements for position as specified by the Virginia Department of Social Services
Working Conditions
This position may require work outside of normal business hours to accommodate the needs of clients.
