Sales Representative for National Markets

ColdHaus Direct is a direct-to-store distributor specializing in national and independent markets. With over 20 years of experience in the sales and distribution industry, we offer a suite of services including direct store delivery, online ordering, warehouse infrastructure, freight, fulfillment, and sub-distributor hosting with comprehensive back-office financial functions.
We are looking to hire an experienced Sales Representative to drive sales and expand our customer base in the gas, convenience, and grocery channels. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, this role involves identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Delivery Truck (G Class) and handheld invoicing system to load products from the warehouse into the delivery truck and delivering products to customers
- Carrying out CVOR safety inspections of the delivery vehicle, and correctly loading it with product and point-of-sale materials
- Identifying and engaging potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Collaborating with supplier partners' representatives to provide them with product knowledge, consumer trends, and overall business needs
- Demonstrating and showcasing products to prospective clients
- Managing inventory by keeping accurate records that are reconciled daily
- Maintaining displays according to brand standards
- Recording delivery information, obtaining customers' signatures, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum one to three years of sales experience, and secondary school education preferred
- Bilingual (English/French) - proficient in both written and oral communication
- Valid Class G Driver's License is mandatory, with a minimum three years' driving experience and a safe and clean driving record
- Patience and reliability navigating through traffic and various road conditions
- Superior interpersonal and written communications, time management, and customer service skills to effectively build relationships
- Ability to understand customer needs and concerns and win their business
- Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and problem identification and resolution skills
