Job Summary:
The National Arts Centre is seeking a skilled Intermission Bar Attendant to join our team. As an essential part of our front-of-house staff, you will provide exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a seamless bar experience.
About the Role:
You will work closely with our Beverage Manager to oversee the operation of the Intermission Bars and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include managing cash transactions, balancing sales against receipts, and providing friendly and efficient service.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar bartending position
- Smart Serve certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds
- Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French)
- A past record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
