About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at 9146-6573 Québec inc. as a Medical Care Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor Patients' Health: Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Assist with Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist patients with eating.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure patients' rooms are clean and tidy, and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Communicate Effectively: Answer call signals, deliver messages, and communicate with patients and staff.
  • Administer Basic Care: Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as required.
  • Transport Patients: Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher as needed.
  • Participate in Team Efforts: Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a medical care assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
