Job Summary

The Medical Care Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with serving meal trays and feeding patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments
  • Maintain patients' rooms and inventory of supplies
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as needed
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Collect specimens and administer first aid in emergency situations
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position, 30 hours per week
  • Fluency in French
