About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at 9146-6573 Québec inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care by taking vital signs, serving meal trays, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by making beds, restocking supplies, and adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as needed, while prioritizing patient comfort and dignity.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently, using wheelchairs or stretchers as required.
  • Respond to call signals, addressing patients' needs promptly and professionally.
  • Collect specimens and administer first aid in emergency situations, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • CPR Certificate and Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training.
  • Criminal record check and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client care and teamwork.
