About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at 9146-6573 Québec inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor Patients' Health: Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure patients' rooms are clean and tidy, and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Communicate Effectively: Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments, and answer call signals to determine patients' needs.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
