Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at King Tandoori Bar and Grill. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies and programs that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development and Implementation

Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a positive work environment.

Employee Relations

Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to resolve conflicts and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Recruitment and Selection

Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, and coordinate the hiring process to ensure timely and effective onboarding of new employees.

Training and Development

Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and manage training and development strategies to promote career growth and advancement.

Performance Management

Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure fair and consistent evaluation of employee performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities to improve performance.

Payroll and Benefits Administration

Oversee payroll administration, including processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Education

A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a similar industry or role.

Language

Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

Work Environment

Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organization, and a team player with a client-focused approach.
