Job Title: Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team at Canadawide Immigration Consultancy Services LTD.

Job Summary:

The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support to our legal team, including scheduling appointments, maintaining filing systems, and preparing legal documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including preparing invoices and bank deposits
  • Manage contracts and maintain accurate records
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including preparing legal documents and correspondence
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal or administrative role
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
