Job Title: Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team at Canadawide Immigration Consultancy Services LTD.

Job Summary:

The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support to our legal team, maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems, preparing and keying in correspondence and legal documents, and reviewing and proofreading documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Maintain filing system
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Manage contracts
  • Complete legal documentation
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment:

The Legal Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
