Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Petro Canada. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Lead and manage a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Order Merchandise: Source and procure merchandise to meet customer demand and maintain an attractive store display.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize labor costs.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service, promoting and selling merchandise to meet sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, merchandising reports, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
