Crisis Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Worker to join our team at Haldimand & Norfolk Women's Services. As a Crisis Intervention Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals in crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Assess client needs and determine eligibility for services
- Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention support
- Resolve conflict situations and facilitate counseling sessions
- Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
- College or CEGEP education
- Experience in crisis intervention or a related field (an asset)
- Criminal record check, driver's license check, and driving record check
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Fast-paced environment with high pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Judgment and client focus
- Casual work term with flexible hours (1-40 hours per week)
- English language work environment
