We are seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Worker to join our team at Haldimand & Norfolk Women's Services. As a Crisis Intervention Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals in crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clients' needs and provide appropriate interventions to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to address clients' specific needs.
- Collaborate with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling).
- Experience working with individuals in crisis or high-risk situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
