We are seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Worker to join our team at Haldimand & Norfolk Women's Services. As a Crisis Intervention Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals in crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clients' needs and determine eligibility for our services
- Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention support
- Resolve conflict situations and facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
- Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support
- Criminal record check and valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and ability to work varied shifts
- Experience in crisis intervention or a related field
- Knowledge of local social services and resources
