Team Leader for Community Group Care Programs

Wood\u2019s Homes is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to oversee our Community Group Care Programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing after-hours on-call crises, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients. This role reports to the program manager and requires a strong understanding of child development and trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising front-line staff, including monitoring hours, scheduling, and case management documentation
  • Answering crisis phone calls and staff sick calls
  • Maintaining program structure and integrity, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients
  • Conducting clinical and administrative supervisions, evaluating job performance, and executing other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Education:

  • Degree in Social or Human Sciences required
  • Minimum four years' experience working with young people and families, with a focus on crisis management and risk assessment
  • Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and implementation strategies for younger children and families
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, with a valid class 5 driver's license and own transportation
