We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Director to lead our competitive sports programs at Bolder Climbing Community.

About the Job
  • This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in competitive coaching, program development, and team management.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

The Program Director will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing competitive programs for athletes of all levels;
  • Coordinating training sessions, practices, and competitions;
  • Motivating and preparing athletes for competitive events;
  • Analyzing and evaluating athlete performance;
  • Selecting and purchasing equipment and supplies;
  • Managing budgets and monitoring revenues and expenses;
  • Supervising staff and volunteers;
  • Developing and managing programs and services;
  • Leading groups and individuals through coaching and instruction;
  • Conducting safety training programs;
  • Participating in provincial and national competitions and sporting events;
  • Representing the organization at community events and meetings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in competitive coaching and program development;
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills;
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
