About the Role:

This isn't just another engineering position – it's an opportunity to shape the future of healthcare. You'll be responsible for transforming our cutting-edge ultrasound prototypes into commercially viable products, utilizing your deep industry expertise to overcome challenges during development and production phases.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and ship impactful products: Leverage your technical expertise to transform prototypes into market-ready products, ensuring seamless software and hardware integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with our research-driven team to translate breakthrough ideas into scalable products, blending research with real-world application.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing team: Lead and inspire a talented group of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation and excellence: Stay ahead of the curve with the latest advancements in ultrasound, medical devices, and emerging technologies, setting high standards for product quality and regulatory compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of hands-on technical experience at the intersection of software and hardware, with a progression into both technical and people leadership positions.
  • A proven track record of leading projects from prototype to production, ideally in medical devices or similar regulated industries.
  • A forward-thinking mindset to manage risk throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of guiding both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • BSEE in a field of engineering or related is required; MS/PhD preferred.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience with medical device regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with ultrasound imaging, ultrasonics transducers, and CMUT technology.
  • Medical device development background, particularly in medical ultrasound devices, is a strong asset.
  • Background in systems engineering and software development for hardware integration.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a generous salary ($145,000 - $170,000 per year), comprehensive healthcare benefits, and adaptable work arrangements tailored to your needs.
