Job Overview

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, Skeates Contracting Inc. offers competitive benefits packages to its employees.

Responsibilities

This role involves several key responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with team members to optimize productivity and product quality.
  • Estimating costs and materials for projects, and recommending cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Reviewing blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate project implementation.
  • Requisitioning materials and supplies as needed.
  • Supervising a team of 11-15 individuals to ensure effective workflow and communication.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the carpentry industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
