About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at JobCart Inc in Burlington, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in carpentry and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Build and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures, adhering to safety standards and building codes.
  • Repair and maintain existing structures, following blueprints and specifications.
  • Inspect and assess carpentry needs for new and existing construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.

Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

  • Must be a Licensed Carpenter with certification.
  • Proven experience in carpentry work, with a focus on complex projects such as custom cabinetry, renovations, or framing.
  • Familiarity with power tools and construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
