Job Overview

The Technical Project Lead will report to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and be responsible for managing technical projects based on Microsoft .NET Technologies, JavaScript/jQuery, and SQL Database within an Azure ecosystem. The primary focus will be on hands-on leadership of an agile team delivering new product features, system performance and scalability improvements, production support escalations for core applications, and maintaining the currency of the IT technology stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing backend service and DevOps technical strategy with the CTO while advancing the technical roadmap.
  • Managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Carrying out managerial duties, including salary reviews, professional development, and performance management.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and facilitate technical solutioning sessions.
  • Managing the software development lifecycle for several services and applications, ensuring they are built to be maintainable, scalable, and rigorous quality control to ensure a problem-free user experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience developing in Microsoft Technologies.
  • 5+ years' experience overseeing and managing a Development Team.
  • Proven experience in technical project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge developing on Microsoft Azure SQL (writing queries, functions, stored procedures).
  • Knowledge in web frameworks/technologies (AJAX, RESTful services, JSON).
  • Knowledge of HTML / HTML5 / CSS and responsive web design.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies for Web App, Web APIs.
  • Other programming languages (JavaScript, jQuery, Razor Pages).
  • A post-secondary degree in a related field.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

This estimated salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
