About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation. They will also ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys. You should also be able to establish work schedules and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical DemandsThis position requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and maintaining efficient interpersonal skills. The ability to work as a team player and possess client focus is essential.
