Strategic Operations Coordinator for the CEO's Office

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Strategic Operations Coordinator to join our team in the CEO's Office at the Government of Canada - Central. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing administrative support and coordinating tasks.
As a Strategic Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing organizational policies and programs. You will be responsible for allocating resources, authorizing department establishment, coordinating regional work, establishing objectives, and representing the organization in official functions.
About the roleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in administration and experience in coordinating projects. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs;
- Authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions;
- Coordinating the work of regions, divisions, or departments;
- Establishing objectives for the organization and formulating or approving policies and programs;
- Representing the organization, or delegating representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions;
- Establishing financial and administrative controls; formulating and approving promotional campaigns; and approving overall human resources planning.
The ideal candidate will have a degree from a College/CEGEP and 2 years of experience in a related field. They must be able to work on-site and demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a full-time position, requiring the successful candidate to work a standard 37.5-hour week. The salary for this role is estimated to be $85,000 per annum, based on national averages and taking into account the level of responsibility and qualifications required.
