Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at CP. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and oversight to field technical support staff, as well as providing support and maintenance for radio systems across Canada and the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and evaluation of radio systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrading
  • Develop and perform radio system installation, configuration, and upgrading guidelines
  • Provide on-call support and response on a rotating cycle for incidents and emergencies
  • Mentor and train S&C Technicians for best practices
  • Assist in radio system studies, project, and product requirements reviews

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electronics or another technical field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong data analysis experience required
  • Proven ability to work in a demanding environment
  • Technical training (Qualification as an S&C Maintainer or S&C Technician) is an asset
  • Experience in railway signals and communications is an asset
  • Experience working with RF systems in the Land Mobile Radio industry is an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office, experience with SAP would be an asset
  • Knowledge of industrial electronics or microprocessors would be an asset
