Dietitian - Nutrition & Food Services Specialist

The Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health organization is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and care to patients, families, and communities. This role requires a strong understanding of nutrition science and the ability to apply evidence-based practices in a clinical setting.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and a Dietetic Internship Program. They will also be registered with the Nova Scotia College of Dietitians and Nutritionists and have a minimum of one year of experience as a Dietitian. Inpatient clinical nutrition experience is an asset, as is competency in dysphagia management, enteral and parenteral nutrition. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
This is a part-time, short-assignment position with 15 bi-weekly hours. The successful candidate will be required to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The hourly rate for this position is $43.43.
