Bilingual Claims Service Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Claims Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for providing immediate and personalized assistance to policyholders who are calling to report insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Document initial loss details and activities to ensure timely and service-oriented disposition of calls.
- Make determinations based on protocol if immediate adjuster attention is required and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Review ECS call reports and ensure calls have terminated properly, forwarding accurate and complete call reports as required.
- Provide personalized customer service of the highest level, arranging for the dispatch of adjusters or vendor partners when necessary.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education.
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry or related experience is preferred.
- Strong computer and telephone skills, with an aptitude/ability to learn.
- Effective communication skills in English and French.
Work Environment
This is a full-time opportunity, requiring 37.5 hours of work per week. Weekend shifts are mandatory, and candidates must be fully bilingual in French and English.
