Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for executing menu item production with an emphasis on quality and presentation. This includes preparing, pre-cooking, cooking, and presenting menu items in a timely fashion, following standardized recipes.

Accountabilities
  • • Prepare mis en place and other products as required for high volume production
  • • Assist 3rd Cooks with product receipts, breakdown, storage, and rotation
  • • Clean culinary equipment after use and/or remove soiled equipment to the dish pit
  • • Assist with month-end inventories as directed
  • • Attend monthly culinary meetings
  • • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
Requirements
  • • Minimum 4 years progressive culinary experience
  • • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • • High school diploma
  • • Dependable and reliable with a demonstrated commitment to service excellence
  • • Understanding of self and others when communicating with team members and guests
  • • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • • Energetic, highly motivated, and creative
  • • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • • Food Safe Level 1 and Serving it Right License certifications
  • • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays
Work Environment

Regular kitchen environment, standing and walking for long periods, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, and bending.
