About the Job

AJ DESIGN INTERIOR LTD is seeking a skilled steel stud framer to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing steel studs and drywall in interior projects.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and be willing to relocate for various locations. You will work on commercial and residential projects, including renovations and new constructions.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Certifications and Training

You will need to possess certifications such as Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.

Requirements

We require a strong physical presence, with ability to handle heavy loads, work in tight deadlines, and maintain a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Compensation and Benefits

This permanent position offers an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on 30 hours of work per week. Relocation costs will be covered by the employer. Travel expenses will also be paid by the company.

Work Conditions

Please note that this role requires regular travel and willingness to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
