Job Title: Steel Stud Framer - Construction Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at AJ Design Interior Ltd. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Relocate to various locations, with relocation costs covered by the employer.

Requirements:

  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding conditions, and meet tight deadlines.
