Job Title: Steel Stud Framer - Construction Specialist

About the Role:

Mona Corporation is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our construction team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

Work Environment:

As a Steel Stud Framer, you will work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work under tight deadlines, and be physically demanding.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in steel stud framing
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work under tight deadlines
