M & A CONSTRUCTION SERVICES GROUP is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Additionally, you will fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction techniques and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Willingness to travel
