Job Title: Steel Stud Framer - Construction Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at M & A Construction Services Group. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

Work Environment:

As a Steel Stud Framer, you will work in a construction environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.

Requirements:

  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Willingness to travel

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Language: English

Employment Type: Permanent
