At DELTA GOLF COURSE (2015) LTD., we are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and coordinating events, conferences, and meetings. Key responsibilities include reviewing bids and negotiating costs, arranging for shipping, receiving, and storage, and coordinating set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing social programs, food and beverage, transportation, and other services, as well as planning and arranging for accommodation and transportation services. Additionally, they will develop registration systems and information materials, research and design special events programs, and plan for VIP arrangements and social events.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized, and have the ability to work under pressure. They will also have attention to detail and be a team player. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review bids and negotiate costs
  • Arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage
  • Co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details
  • Co-ordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events
  • Implement social programs, food and beverage, transportation, and other services
  • Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services
  • Develop registration systems and information materials
  • Research and design special events programs
  • Plan for VIP arrangements
  • Plan for social events and guest programs
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services
  • Plan and manage the facility's operations budget
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and team player
