**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a part-time professor in the Emergency Services Fundamentals program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum for this program, which is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the emergency services field.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of students and industry partners
  • Teach and assess students in a variety of learning environments, including classroom and online settings
  • Work with industry partners to ensure that curriculum is current and relevant
  • Participate in program development and evaluation
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

**Requirements**

  • Relevant degree with industry credentials
  • Current APCO Public Safety Instructor (Canadian) Certification
  • Minimum of five years of recent and relevant work experience
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
  • Experience participating in industry-led or community-based applied research
