Part-Time Professor, Emergency Services Fundamentals Instructor

At Durham College, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a part-time professor in the Emergency Services Fundamentals program.
About the Role:- Teach in the Emergency Services Fundamentals program, focusing on APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator
- Develop and deliver curriculum that uses current assessment methodologies and Universal Design for Learning
- Work effectively with students, faculty, and stakeholders to create a positive learning environment
- Utilize educational technologies to support learning and manage grades
- Relevant degree with industry credentials, with a Master's degree an asset
- Current APCO Public Safety Instructor (Canadian) Certification required
- Minimum of five years of recent work experience in the field
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level with a demonstrated understanding of current assessment methodologies
- Experience participating in industry-led or community-based applied research an asset
