Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped with necessary equipment.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement menus, specials, and promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or as a senior cook in a busy hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety, handling, and preparation procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining high standards of quality and service even during peak periods.
