Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Coordinator to join our team at Akan Insurance.

About the Role

This is a permanent, part-time position requiring 30 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure seamless implementation and adherence to deadlines;
  • Establish and maintain effective work priorities, ensuring all procedures are followed and deadlines met;
  • Carry out administrative activities, including preparing operating budgets and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls;
  • Assemble and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence;
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • At least 1 year of experience in administration, preferably in an insurance or financial services environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively;
