About the Role

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Support Assistant to join our team at Rowena Merca Bernardino. In this role, you will provide support to families with children who require additional care and attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the family.
  • Cook meals as required.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Supervise and care for children.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
Experience and Specialization

We are looking for someone with experience working with special needs students, particularly children with an intellectual disability.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
