Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automobile Damage Repair Estimator to join our team at PAE TRUCKS. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating repair costs based on damage examination reports and inspecting repaired vehicles.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position with 32-35 hours of work per week.
  • The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year in a related field is required.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports.
  2. Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards.
  3. Plan repair work to be performed, taking into account materials and resources available.
  4. Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
  5. Test drive vehicles to verify proper handling and performance.
  6. Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices.
  7. Order materials and stock as needed to support repair operations.
  8. Document detailed inspection results accurately and efficiently.
