We are seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team at FOUR WAY AUTO REPAIR. This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding and requiring attention to detail. Responsibilities include:

  • Replacing front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
  • Filing, grinding and sanding body surfaces to be repaired
  • Masking and taping auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Hammering out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Removing damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolting or welding replacement parts into place
  • Applying primers and repainting surfaces
  • Repairing or replacing interior components
  • Repairing or replacing damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs
  • Mixing paint, blending and matching colors
  • Operating soldering equipment or using plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
  • Straightening bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive repair industry
  • Equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include opportunities for advancement and professional development.

Salary: $62,500 per year
