Main Responsibilities:
• Supervise the culinary team at the site level, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
• Assist in developing performance objectives and provide input on team member performance evaluations.
• Supervise culinary team members on a shift basis, assign tasks, and conduct timesheet administration.
• Lead by example in preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items in a timely manner, adhering to standardized recipes.
• Manage ordering and month-end inventories to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, health and safety, and statutory regulations.
• Maintain safe food handling and preparation techniques.
• Collaborate with the Regional Executive Chef to develop daily specials and contribute to menu development.
• Assist in maintaining budgeted labour and food costs.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of progressive culinary supervisory experience; culinary education an asset.
• Red Seal certification an asset.
• Level 1 Food Safe Certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example.
• Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check.
• Prior experience working with Optimum Control an asset.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Working knowledge of inventory management system required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to continually increase knowledge of our products and services to offer exceptional experiences.
